At Clause AI (www.clauseai.in), we are committed to providing a high-quality, undetectable AI interview assistant. We understand that in certain rare circumstances, a refund may be requested.
This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted, with a strong emphasis on preventing abuse given the instant value our service provides. Due to the instant, consumable nature of our digital goods, all purchases are generally considered final. Any exceptions to this policy, and the final approval of any refund request, remain at the sole and absolute discretion of the Clause AI management team.
1. Refund Eligibility
A refund may be considered only under the following specific conditions:
- Critical Technical Bug: The Clause AI software contains a critical, verifiable technical bug that prevents its core functionality (e.g., real-time assistance, undetectable operation) on your compatible system, and our technical support team is unable to provide a resolution or workaround within 7 business days of the issue being reported. The bug must be reproducible by our team.
- Inability to Access Service: You are unable to access the Clause AI service due to a system-side failure on our part that persists for more than 48 hours after purchase, and our technical support team is unable to resolve the access issue. To be eligible, the refund request must be made within seven (7) days of the original purchase date.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Clause AI operates on a strict no-refund policy for scenarios outside of the explicit eligibility criteria outlined above. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Usage of Service: No refunds will be issued if the Clause AI service, or any portion thereof (e.g., tokens, credits, or features), has been used, accessed, or activated for a live interview or any other purpose that demonstrates the value proposition of the service. This includes any instance where the AI has provided assistance, regardless of the outcome of the interview.
- Detection and Assumption of Risk: While our service is engineered to bypass common screen-sharing and proctoring software, we do not guarantee absolute undetectability against customized, highly advanced, or future monitoring systems. Using Clause AI in restricted environments is done entirely at your own risk. Any consequences, including but not limited to detection, disqualification, or account bans by third-party platforms, are your sole responsibility. Claims of detection or failure to bypass a specific proctoring tool are strictly non-refundable.
- Performance Expectations: Dissatisfaction with the AI's performance, accuracy of suggestions, or speed of response, provided the core functionality is working as intended, does not qualify for a refund.
- Incompatibility with Non-Supported Systems: Refunds will not be granted for issues arising from using Clause AI on operating systems, hardware, or software configurations not officially supported or recommended by Clause AI.
- Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for a change of mind or if you no longer require the service after purchase.
- Partial Usage of Tokens/Credits: Any partial usage of purchased tokens, credits, or subscription time renders the purchase non-refundable.
- Failure to Read Terms: Failure to read and understand the product description, system requirements, or this Refund Policy prior to purchase.
- Account Suspension/Termination: Refunds will not be issued if your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
- Third-Party Server Outages (Force Majeure): Inability to access the service due to generalized outages of our third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting, database servers) or internet service disruptions beyond our direct control does not qualify for a refund.
3. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be initiated within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the original purchase. Requests received after this period will not be considered. To request a refund, you must follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Send an email to support@clauseai.in within the 7-day refund window, clearly stating your request for a refund.
- Provide Details: Include your purchase receipt or order number, the email address associated with your Clause AI account, and a detailed explanation of why you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria in Section 1.
- Evidence (if applicable): For critical technical bugs, you must provide clear, verifiable evidence (e.g., screen recordings, detailed error logs, screenshots) demonstrating the issue and that the core functionality is not working on a compatible system. Our team may require further diagnostic information or a live demonstration to verify the claim.
- Fraud Warning: If our investigation reveals that a refund request is fraudulent, fabricated, or attempts to bypass our Terms of Service, the request will be instantly denied, and the user's account will be permanently banned without further notice.
4. Refund Processing
Our support team will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days. If your refund is approved, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment within 10-15 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Clause AI subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
- Access After Cancellation: If you choose to cancel, your subscription will not renew at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain full access to the Clause AI service until the end of that paid cycle.
- No Prorated Refunds: Please note that canceling your subscription simply prevents future billing. It does not automatically qualify you for a refund of any previously paid charges, and we do not provide prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
